Our Yellow Ochre Watercolour Paints beautifully capture the warm, mellow earth from where they first started. 

Each of our Yellow Ochre Watercolour paint half pans is made from locally sourced ochre that was personally collected and hand prepared into a gorgeous Yellow Ochre pigment.

This pigment is a delightfully rich yellow earth tone; it has good covering power, medium granulation as is very stable and light fast.

* We use a mixture of historic and contemporary techniques to produce each pigment used in our paints *

The Method: 

| We grind each pigment with a binder, which consists of the finest Gum Arabic, Organic Honey, Glycerin and Water.

| Over the course of 2-3 weeks, this mixture is poured into half-pans. This results in an exceptional quality paint with a truly unique colour experience.

| The Alchemical Arts uses historic and traditional methods when preparing our pigments. This makes for a very organic colour range with highly authentic results. Each pigment takes on its own unique subtleties, richness, handling and optical qualities.

Ingredients: Yellow ochre pigment, gum arabic, vegetable glycerin, honey
