Description

Naples Lake is a uniquely crafted lake pigment that blends a Chamomile, Calendula lake with a small amount of Madder Lake and Yellow Ochre.

This blend of pigments results in a soft warm pastel yellow that has a tone reminiscent of Naples Yellow.

Being a Lake pigment it is far more transparent than a genuine Naples Yellow. This make the pigment well suited to water based mediums or glazing applications when used in oils.
